OPEN CALL. REAR AFFAIRS: A CURRICULUM ON INCLUSION THROUGH THE ARTS

How can we use arts and culture to restore dignity for those people who have left everything behind? In order to answer this question, UNESCO’s Art-Lab for Human Rights and Dialogue was initiated in December 2018. It aims at mainstreaming the arts and culture across programmes and policies, with populations living in vulnerable contexts. Through local action programmes, the programme builds artistic and cultural activities to promote human rights. With a network of artists and cultural operators around the world and hundreds of documented practices, Art-Lab promotes the meeting of civil society and artists in order to strengthen social cohesion and develop artistic and cultural policies that have the construction of fairer societies as their main guideline.

Registration is open until June 29 (23:59 Kyiv time). You can fill out the questionnaire by following the link: questionnaire
