The Dream Workshop NGO invites you to the opening of the exhibition Just Drawings, a unique art project showcasing the works of women with mental disabilities.
The exhibition features works by women who explored essential human questions through their drawings: “How do I feel?”, “What do I love?”, “What do I dream about?” These drawings are heartfelt answers to complex questions rarely asked of people with mental disabilities.
Alongside the artworks, you will find short interview texts, personal stories of the artists, and their photographs. This context helps to deepen the understanding of each participant and their creative journey.
One of the participants, Anzhelika, lives in our Supported Living House. She participated in a two-day leadership camp for women in the Carpathians organized by the Fight for Right NGO. There, she presented the project Leadership of Women with Disabilities in Communities and won a grant to fund art classes for herself and other women in the organization.
Additional Information:
The exhibition will also feature branded items inspired by the participants’ drawings. Proceeds from sales will go toward the further development of art projects for women.
Admission is free. We welcome everyone interested in learning more about the power of art, inclusion, and personal stories.
